• The Wild are currently 9-3 in their last 12 road games and goaltender Nicklas Backstrom went 3-0-0 last week with a 1.92 GAA on route to being named the first star of the week by the NHL...
• Calgary is coming off home wins against San Jose and Phoenix, and are hoping to continue the dominance that makes them the leagues best home team...
• Backstrom is expected to get the start tonight against Miikka Kiprusoff, who was given the last game off after having a little trouble as of late. Backstrom is still filling in for the injured Manny Fernandez, who has been out for the last month with a sprained knee...
• Brian Rolston leads the Wild with 26 goals and 52 points, while Pierre-Marc Bouchard tops the team with 29 assists. The other leaders are Keith Carney at +14 and Derek Boogard with 81 PIMs...
• You have to wonder if Eric Godard will get the start tonight to take on the Boogie Man again, or if Wayne Primeau will be given the task instead...

I'm expecting a close win over a good team here, with the hometown boys coming out on top, 3-2. Goals by Iginla, Moss, and Tanguay, with Demitra and Gaborik answering back for the road team...
